Who qualifies
In the new millennium, award criteria was refreshed in collaboration with Coach Ruane and the Lubamersky family to be given to an outstanding player of any gender whose athletic excellence has inspired greater achievements and cohesiveness among his/her teammates in CIF/AAA-sanctioned team sports.
Students submit applications which, along with their transcripts and optional coach recommendation letters, are reviewed by the Lubamersky family who select one, two or three seniors each year.
