Resident of the State of Hawai’i; Demonstrate financial need (Financial aid letter from your college required to verify final award amount); Minimum GPA 2.5; Graduate of an East Hawai’i public high school; Major in a degree in fine arts or classics, including or closely related to:; theatre/performing arts; ceramics/sculpture; literature/writing.
How to win it
Make sure your application clearly highlights your passion and coursework in fine arts or classics, whether that's theatre, ceramics, sculpture, literature, or writing, since your chosen field is central to this scholarship. Keep your GPA at or above 2.5 and gather your financial aid award letter from your college early, as it is required to verify your financial need. As a graduate of an East Hawai'i public high school, you already meet a key eligibility requirement, so focus on presenting a strong, genuine story about how your creative field of study shapes your goals.
