The 2027-2028 HCF Common Scholarship Application opens on December 1, 2026. Apply by February 1, 2027, 4 PM Hawai’i Standard Time.
Be a resident of the State of Hawai‘i; Demonstrate financial need; Be in good academic standing by maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0; Be a full-time student; Intend to major in Education; Be a graduating high school senior from Kailua, Castle, Kahuku, or Kalaheo High School; Be a student with extra-curricular activities in the performing arts; Community service.
How to win it
To win this scholarship, make sure your application highlights your performing arts involvement and community service, as these are key factors alongside your Education major plans. Since the GPA requirement is a 2.0 minimum, focus your energy on crafting a strong personal statement that showcases your passion for teaching and your contributions to the arts and your community.
