Involved in extracurricular activities and the community
How to win it
Strong applicants clearly meet every requirement: deer river high school (drhs) graduating senior; gpa of 3.25 or higher; involved in extracurricular activities and the community. Apply early and double-check the deadline, since local awards often have small applicant pools and reward the well-prepared.
