How to win it
Strong applicants clearly meet every requirement: be a citizen in good standing at school and in the community; have completed 25 hours of community service at a recognized organization.; have an acceptance letter or other confirmation from a college or community college or technical training program. Apply early and double-check the deadline, since local awards often have small applicant pools and reward the well-prepared.
