How to win it
Strong applicants clearly meet every requirement: must be a resident of colorado; cumulative unweighted gpa of 2.5+; must enroll at an accredited vocational/technical school, community college, or college/university in the upcoming academic year. This award asks for an essay, 1 recommendation, a transcript, so give those pieces real time rather than rushing them. Apply early and double-check the deadline, since local awards often have small applicant pools and reward the well-prepared.
