The 2027-2028 HCF Common Scholarship Application opens on December 1, 2026. Apply by February 1, 2027, 4 PM Hawai’i Standard Time.
Be a resident of the State of Hawaii; Demonstrate financial need; Be in good academic standing or progress (equivalent to a cumulative GPA of 2.0); Be a Hawaii public high school graduating senior; GPA between 3.3 - 3.5; Intend to major in Education; Attend the University of Hawaii - Manoa; For recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibil.
How to win it
To win this scholarship, make sure your GPA falls within the 3.3 to 3.5 range and that you clearly express your commitment to majoring in Education at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Since financial need is a key factor, be thorough and honest when documenting your financial situation in your application.
