How to win it
Strong applicants clearly meet every requirement: shall reside in the 96792 area code (waianae, oahu); graduating senior or currently enrolled in college/trade school; certified transcript of scholastic grade achievement (good grades not mandatory). This award asks for an essay, 2 recommendations, a transcript, so give those pieces real time rather than rushing them. Apply early and double-check the deadline, since local awards often have small applicant pools and reward the well-prepared.
