The 2027-2028 HCF Common Scholarship Application opens on December 1, 2026. Apply by February 1, 2027, 4 PM Hawai’i Standard Time.
Be a resident of the State of Hawaii; Demonstrate financial need; Be in good academic standing by maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0; Be a graduate of a high school in the State of Hawaii; Recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing.; A student who attended and completed their gra.
How to win it
Focus on clearly demonstrating your financial need in your application, since that is a key requirement alongside maintaining your GPA. Make sure your transcripts reflect a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5, and confirm you graduated from a Hawaii high school and are a Hawaii resident. If you received this scholarship last year, reapplying is a great opportunity since prior recipients in good standing are considered.
