The 2027-2028 HCF Common Scholarship Application opens on December 1, 2026. Apply by February 1, 2027, 4 PM Hawai’i Standard Time.
Be a resident of the State of Hawaii; Demonstrate financial need; Be in good academic standing or by maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0; Attending the University of Hawai'i at Manoa; Majoring in Business; Recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing.
How to win it
Focus on clearly demonstrating your financial need in your application, since that is a key requirement alongside your 2.0 GPA. Make sure your materials confirm you are enrolled as a Business major at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, as this scholarship is specifically tied to that program and institution. If you receive this award, keep your GPA at or above 2.0 and meet all eligibility requirements, because past recipients in good standing may be considered again the following year.
