The 2027-2028 HCF Common Scholarship Application opens on December 1, 2026. Apply by February 1, 2027, 4 PM Hawai’i Standard Time.
Be a resident of the State of Hawaii; Demonstrate financial need; Be in good academic standing or by maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0; Majoring in Culinary Arts; Attending the Hawaii Community College; Resident of the Island of Hawaii; To students awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing.
How to win it
Focus on clearly demonstrating your financial need in your application, as this is a key requirement alongside your 2.0 GPA. Make sure you are enrolled in a Culinary Arts program at Hawaii Community College and can confirm your residency on the Island of Hawaii. If you receive this scholarship, know that you may be eligible for renewal the following year as long as you continue to meet all the requirements and stay in good academic standing.
