The 2027-2028 HCF Common Scholarship Application opens on December 1, 2026. Apply by February 1, 2027, 4 PM Hawai’i Standard Time.
Be a resident of the State of Hawaii; Demonstrate financial need; Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.3; Be a graduate of Kapaa High School; Attend Kauai Community College; Recipients who were awarded in the immediate prior year if such recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements and is in good academic standing.
How to win it
Keep your GPA at or above 3.3 and make sure you have your financial need documentation ready, since both are required for this award. Because this scholarship is specifically for Kapaa High School graduates attending Kauai Community College, confirm you meet both of those criteria before applying. If you receive it once, you may be eligible to renew it the following year, so stay focused on your academics and maintain good standing throughout your time at Kauai Community College.
