The 2027-2028 HCF Common Scholarship Application opens on December 1, 2026. Apply by February 1, 2027, 4 PM Hawai’i Standard Time.
Be a resident of the State of Hawaii; Demonstrate financial need; Be in good academic standing or by maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0; Be a graduating high school senior; First generation students.
How to win it
Focus on clearly demonstrating your financial need in your application, as this is a key factor for this scholarship. Since it welcomes first generation college students, highlight that milestone in your personal statement if it applies to you. Keep your GPA at or above 2.0 and make sure your Hawaii residency is well documented to meet all the eligibility requirements.
