The 2027-2028 HCF Common Scholarship Application opens on December 1, 2026. Apply by February 1, 2027, 4 PM Hawai’i Standard Time.
Be a resident of the State of Hawaii; Demonstrate financial need; Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.7; Enroll in an AS or AAS career and technical degree program within the University of Hawaii Community College system; Attend as a full-time student (as determined by the school's financial aid office); Be a resident of Ewa Beach; Students in a Marine-related program.
How to win it
To win this scholarship, make sure you clearly demonstrate your financial need in your application and highlight that you are an Ewa Beach resident enrolled full-time in a Marine-related AS or AAS career and technical program at a University of Hawaii Community College. Keep your GPA at or above 2.7, as that is the minimum required to be eligible. Showing a strong connection to both your community and your chosen technical field will help your application stand out to the Hawaii Community Foundation.
