The 2027-2028 HCF Common Scholarship Application opens on December 1, 2026. Apply by February 1, 2027, 4 PM Hawai’i Standard Time.
Demonstrate financial need; Be in good academic standing or by maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0; Be a resident of the State of Hawaii; Major in a physical science related field (excluding biological and social sciences).
How to win it
Focus your application on clearly demonstrating your financial need and your commitment to a physical science field, since those are the core requirements for this scholarship. Make sure your GPA is at or above 2.0 and that your intended major falls within the physical sciences, keeping in mind that biological and social sciences are excluded.
