The 2027-2028 HCF Common Scholarship Application opens on December 1, 2026. Apply by February 1, 2027, 4 PM Hawai’i Standard Time.
Be a graduating senior from Waimea High School, Kauai High School, or Kapa'a High School; Be a resident of the island of Kauai; Demonstrate financial need; Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0; Attend full-time (as determined by your school's financial aid office); Attend an accredited institution within the US (including territories).
How to win it
Make sure your application clearly highlights your financial need and confirms your full-time enrollment status, since both are required for this scholarship. As a graduating senior from Waimea, Kauai, or Kapa'a High School with at least a 3.0 GPA, you already meet the academic bar, so focus on telling your story honestly and compellingly.
