The 2027-2028 HCF Common Scholarship Application opens on December 1, 2026. Apply by February 1, 2027, 4 PM Hawai’i Standard Time.
Demonstrate financial need; Be a resident of the island of Kauai; Minimum GPA of 3.5; Submit two letters of recommendation; Minimum GPA of 2.7; Attend Kauai Community College.
How to win it
To win this scholarship, make sure your GPA meets the 3.5 minimum and that you carefully document your financial need in your application. Choose two recommenders who know your academic work and character well, and ask them early so they have plenty of time to write strong letters. As a Kauai resident planning to attend Kauai Community College, you are already in a great position, so put your best effort into every part of the application.
