The 2027-2028 HCF Common Scholarship Application opens on December 1, 2026. Apply by February 1, 2027, 4 PM Hawai’i Standard Time.
Be a resident of the State of Hawaii; Demonstrate financial need; Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.7; Be a high school senior from Waialua High School; Be a full-time student; Submit one letter of recommendation.
How to win it
To stand out for this scholarship, make sure your application clearly demonstrates your financial need and includes a strong letter of recommendation from someone who knows you well academically or personally. Keep your GPA at or above 2.7 and confirm you are enrolling as a full-time student. As a Waialua High School senior, you are already in a select group of eligible applicants, so put your best effort into every part of the application.
